It is with pleasure and pride that I welcome you to the Coffee County School System. It is my hope that you will view your employment here as the beginning of a rewarding career.

The hiring of personnel is one of our most important tasks as we want only the best to work with our boys and girls. You were selected for employment from a large number of applicants because you demonstrated those qualities that indicated you value excellence. We recognize that you may have many questions as you begin your new job and I encourage you to request assistance when needed.

Our orientation goal for new employees is to provide important and useful information. Carefully review all information provided as a part of the process of becoming a member of one of the best public school districts in Georgia.

To begin your orientation process, you will be required to complete several documents as a new employee. Please follow the link identified as "New Employee Forms" located on the left navigation bar of this page and print the forms under the section titled "All Employees". Once you have printed all of this information, continue the new hire process by also printing the information that pertains to your new position with our system. For example, Bus Drivers, Certified Employees, Classified Employees, etc.  To access most of the employment forms you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have this program on your computer, you can download a free copy of the software by clicking on the link below.

As you scroll through each form, please print and complete all forms. Once you have completed the process, you may contact Jessica Matias, our Employee Benefits Specialist, 912-384-2086, Ext. 6502, for a personalized appointment. During your scheduled appointment, you will receive additional information pertaining to employee benefits available to you through our benefit brokerage firm of American Fidelity. If you would like to preview all of the benefits available to you,  click here  to access the Employee Benefits Center. Representatives from the firm of American Fidelity will be in contact with you to assist with your selections.

Once you have scheduled an appointment with Jessica Matias in the Personnel Office you will also need to complete all other requirements as a new employee. (Please refer to your respective checklist located in the upcoming links before your scheduled appointment for specific information pertaining to this visit.)
