On Tuesday, October 8, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, in the auditorium of Coffee Middle School, Dr. Morris Leis, Superintendent of Schools, will present an informal session for parents and community members on the current status of the school district from several different perspectives.

Topics of interest will include an update on the System's Report Card, which the state now titles, College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), an update of the Five Year Strategic Plan including Charter System status, news from the Coffee County Career Academy, and points of interest in reference to the upcoming E-SPLOST scheduled for a vote on November 5, 2013.

“October 30 will be one year since we completed our Strategic Plan, Charting our Future: Equity and Excellence,” stated Dr. Leis.  “With the help of our entire community, we created a plan that is transforming our school district and we want to share where we are and where we are going.”

The school system encourages all parents and community members to join Dr. Leis and the school system staff on Tuesday, October 8 for one hour in the auditorium of Coffee Middle School beginning at 6:00 PM.
